It is Ekadasi today. Ekadasi is “Ekadasi refers to the eleventh day after the full moon and the new moon (once a fortnight). On these special days devotees fast and make an extra effort to render devotional service. Observing Ekadasi increases spiritual advancement.” (http://www.iskcon.com/basics/ekadasi.html)

Today I fasted until about 2pm and then I made “devotee potatoes” for lunch with organic ketchup. Yum. DSCI1804

Yesterday for lunch I made a tasty bagle sandwich using a sundried tomato bagle, Veganaise, and veggies. DSCI1772

Now it’s time to see if I can finish this post up the way I wanted to with some more pictures. (WordPress was acting strange earlier.)  But these ones are of my Gaura-Nitai deities. They just look so beautiful and happy. They are very merciful as they let me serve them. Jai Gaura-Nitai!

And here are some of the highlights of our recent trip to the BYU Natural History Museum.

And last but not least. The deities at the Spanish Fork Temple recently got new outfits. They are so beautiful.
