Well, I finally did it. I made bread from scratch. This is something that I have been thinking about doing for years but after moving to Utah where bread making is the in thing I finally got serious about it. What convinced me to do it sooner than later is that this months Vegetarian Times magazine had a nice article on no knead breads. What a better way to start out than a no knead bread? I would post a recipe link but there is none so you will just have to go out and buy the magazine yourself. 🙂

1st rise

I was so nervous that the bread would not come out from the pan. But the Pyrex pan works wonders!!! It just slipped right out! 🙂

Earlier this week Tota and I teamed up and made an awesome breakfast. Homefrys with tempeh white bean pattie from Vegan With A Vengeance. Yum! We made the patties the night before to save time.
