Vegan breakfast fun!

When I first became vegetarian back in ’95 I thought I was never going to be able to eat Biscuits and Gravy ever again due to the sausage in the gravy and whatever questionable animal fats might be in the gravy. Well, 14 years later I am finally able to eat them again, and they are VEGAN! I used the recipe for biscuits out of VWAV, my go to recipe for TVP sausage crumbles that I compiled, and a basic milk gravy recipe and voila! Restaurant style biscuits and gravy. Tota and I each took two biscuits and loaded them up with gravy and sausage crumbles. It was so filling that neither of us was able to finish. I love the feeling of being liberated from restaurants and the grocery store- of being able to make everything from scratch. 🙂
